Collie BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) – UGL
The Collie Battery is located just outside of Collie, Western Australia. The project consisted of installation of over 50km of high voltage and earthing cable and of the placement of 572 Tesla2 XL Megapacks providing 4GWh of backup electricity storage.
Roy Hill Processing Plant – Thiess
Thiess (Later merged into CPB Contractors) were engaged to construct the new processing plant facilities. Our Managing Director Will co-managed this project with 2 other managers due to the size of the job, which had 23 surveyors at peak construction.
Rio Tinto Arygle Diamond Mine – Tenix SDR
Tenix SDR were engaged to fabricate & install the $174M SMP contract. Works consisted of installation of crushers, conveyors and dewatering facilities
BHP Yandi RPG5 Primary & Secondary Crushing Circuit – LRPJV
The joint venture between Laing O’Rourke & Positron (LRP JV) was a design & construction SMP & civil concrete project valued at ~$160M.
Kathleen Valley Lithium Processing Plant
This $100M project was undertaken by Monadelphous to install Structural, Mechanical, Piping (SMP) and Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) for the vertically integrated wet plant at the Kathleen Valley Lithium project.
