The Collie Battery is located just outside of Collie, Western Australia. The project consisted of installation of over 50km of high voltage and earthing cable and of the placement of 572 Tesla2 XL Megapacks providing 4GWh of backup electricity storage.
Thiess (Later merged into CPB Contractors) were engaged to construct the new processing plant facilities. Our Managing Director Will co-managed this project with 2 other managers due to the size of the job, which had 23 surveyors at peak construction.
Tenix SDR were engaged to fabricate & install the $174M SMP contract. Works consisted of installation of crushers, conveyors and dewatering facilities
